With that in mind, we decided to take a look back at the history of the video game franchise, and trace its origins over the last 35 years. ![]() In fact, it can be argued that there has only ever been one decent Ghostbusters video game – released in 2009. The video game aspect of the franchise has never really enjoyed the success that other areas did.
